Rising adoption of cryptocurrencies, the proliferation of centralized and decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, as well as ongoing rise of Decentralized Finance trading and lending protocols, all lead to amplified risks that go beyond the well-known risk of cryptocurrency theft. In his course, Dr. Boris Richard of FTI Consulting identifies such growing risk factors and discusses various types of data-intensive investigations prompted by or designed to mitigate such risk factors. The course also discusses current trends in crypto-related litigations many of which are caused by realizations of risk either previously unknown or underestimated in the public blockchain community.
